Additional Activities for Holy Week
April 6-10
Holy Week is a very important week in our Catholic Faith so at St. Rose we like to focus on the importance of Holy Week and do many activities that have to do with Holy Week.
Please work on the following activities throughout the week.
Activity One: Stations of the Cross Book
Label each page with the station: So for example, if the station was Jesus Dies on the Cross, then at the top or bottom of the page, your child would write Jesus Dies on the Cross.
After you label the station, please color the picture in your very best coloring.
Please try to do 3-4 stations each day as time permits
Activity Two: The Easter Story Pinwheel
Neatly color the two pages. Please color the individual pictures as well.
After it is done being colored, cut out both pages.
Take the “brad” in the baggie I sent with the activity and poke it through the center of both pages. Now you can turn your pinwheel to describe the Easter Story.
Activity Three: What Jesus Did for me
Please write three complete sentences about what Jesus did for you during this time. I realize there are not many lines, so you may write on the back of the page or on an additional piece of paper and staple it to this page.
After you write your three sentences, draw a detailed picture and neatly color your picture
